This pretty and functional bag is very easy, it uses garter stitch on the lower part and a simple lace pattern on top. The seed stitch border and straps make it durable and give it an interesting texture. A sewing machine is needed to sew the straps to twill tape for added strength and durability. It is a great roomy bag for carrying baby items, beach essentials, groceries or just about anything else. It would be a perfect project for a budding knitter.
